Saturday July 25 2009 Class time 10 am

I am so excited about bringing Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bahjan to Union City New Jersey.

I would like to thank St Johns Episcopal Church for their support in making this happen.

Classes begin this Saturday July 25, at 10 am.

We will get started with a wonderful Kriya to release stress from the body by focusing on the adrenal glands and kidneys, followed by a meditation to capture the radiant healing energy of the Cosmos.

Kriya: Stress set for Adrenals and Kidneys

Meditation: Healing with the Siri Gaitri Mantra: RAA MAA DAA SAA ,SAA SAY SO HUNG

In order to stay on track with our busy lives it is important to have an edge.We can be eating well, sleeping enough, but if our glandular balance and in particular our adrenals and kidneys are not at top performance we may not have the energy to get to our destination with ease.

This set helps to reduce stress and create balance.

"Certain Mantras are to be cherished like the most rare and beautiful gem. The Siri Gaitri Mantra is such a find."

The Siri Gaitri Mantra is called a Sushmuna ( the central channel of the spine) Mantra because of its eight sounds that stimulate the kundalini to flow in the central channel of the spine working into each chakra. As this happens ones metabolic leveles are adjusted and a new level of energy is brought to the body. The sound from this mantra balances and activates the Neutral Mind.

RAA, is the energy of the Sun. It energizes and purifies.

MAA, is the energy of the Moon. It is cooling and nurturing.

DAA, is the energy of the Earth. It is secure, personal and grounding.

SAA, is impersonal infinity. The cosmos in all of its open dimensions and totality.

SAY, which is the totality of experience and is personal.

SO, is the personal sense of merger and identity.

HUNG, is the infinity, vibrating and real,

(So and Hung) together mean "I am Thou"

In mammals, the adrenal glands (also known as suprarenal glands) are the star-shaped endocrine glands that sit on top of the kidneys; their name indicates that position. They are chiefly responsible for regulating the stress response through the synthesis of corticosteroids and catecholamines, including cortisol and adrenaline (epinephrine), respectively.
